A skin concern is any frustration or change in your skin that you wish to correct. In my practice, I see and treat a wide range of concerns—here are five common ones:
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Creases in the skin can typically be resolved in 3-4 months with professional skincare treatments. Deeper lines may require more time, depending on the depth of the line or wrinkle. In the most dramatic cases, you should see a dermatologist. However, first try a good skincare program for at least 6 months before progressing to more invasive treatments. I recommend starting with a combination of Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy PLUS and Eye Wrinkle Corrector. Then, add Quench & Restore Advanced Hyaluronic Treatment to plump and firm your more noticeable lines.
Generally, dark spots are easy to fade. And in many cases, we can diminish them so that they are not visible. But, please know that the sun will draw out your dark spots again. So, you must use a good sunscreen and know that you may have to clean up your complexion in the fall after prolonged summer sun exposure.
A quality Hydroquinone-based treatment like Dark Spot Corrector, paired with the pure Retinol in Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy PLUS, typically delivers optimal results in about 3-4 months. Once you’ve achieved optimal results, once daily use (along with sunscreen) is all that is needed to maintain your results.
Eye Puffiness The best solution is to refine the skin tone under the eye and brighten the complexion. This may take as little as a few weeks or a couple of months of continued treatment to fully recondition the delicate skin in the eye area. You need a complete eye treatment like Eye Wrinkle Corrector, which contains Peptides and Vitamins C&E for skin tone and radiance. For more troublesome puffiness, add Quench & Restore Advanced Hyaluronic Treatment.
Dry skin occurs when it can no longer retain sufficient moisture. It may be the
result of over cleansing, harsh ingredients, over exfoliating or unprotected sun exposure (daily SPF is a must). Your best solution is to strengthen the skin barrier with a nourishing treatment like Deep Moisturizer, which features rich nutrients to help renew the skin and protect against moisture loss.
It's best to re-energize your skin and accelerate cell turnover to bring fresh, more radiant cells to the surface. This issue is easily addressed with a high-potency retinoid—either prescriptive Tretinoin or pure Retinol like that in Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy PLUS. For enhanced results, boost with Retinol Vitamin C Concentrate serum.
