Clinical Data
Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy
Split face clinical study was conducted in July 2014 to compare a mass-market anti-aging skin care system including MD Complete Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy to a professionally dispensed prescription anti-aging skin care system that included 0.025% (retinoid) cream. Fourteen subjects who had moderate photo damaged facial skin were enrolled and consented then alternately assigned to either right or left sides of the face with the mass market anti-aging system and the prescription anti-aging system which included 0.025% (retinoid) cream to the other side of their face. Subjects had four visits over 12 weeks for digital photography and surveys. Blinded physicians evaluated the photographs.
Physician objective analysis showed that both systems had statistically significant clinical improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles after 12 weeks of use and that there was no statistically significant difference between the two treatments. The results demonstrate that usage of MD Complete Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy results in similar clinical improvements in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as the leading prescription cream.
